Arthur has been running this donut shop in Uptown Chicago for 40 years. Franco, a kid from the neighborhood, asks for a job and Arthur reluctantly hires him.

Arthur lives in the apartment above the donut shop. He has lived there for 40 years. He keeps it neat and tidy, but it really hasn't changed much since his wife, Joanie, passed away eight years ago.

Randy takes Arthur to his favorite old bowling alley. Unfortunately, it has been taken over by the hipsters, and Arthur has a difficult time enjoying himself.
NEIGHBORHOOD PARK
The old neighborhood play-lot is in danger of being turned into a parking lot and Franco battles to save it. His opponents are the owners of the new hipster Uptown Beardery.

MURPHY'S TAVERN
Randy is wounded in the line of Duty, and her fellow cops throw her a party at Murphy's Tavern, the local cop bar.
Franco comes to the cop party at Murphy's, but feels very uncomfortable around all the cops.
Arthur confronts him outside about his issues with the police.
Franco is accepted into the Art Program at Dearborn College.
Here he faces an art teacher who will challenge Franco top push himself beyond his comfort zone
