"Laurie Lane" color concept sketch of Russel & Angies house (Left) and Mitch & Tracy's house (right)
Truth Be Told is a contemporary comedy set in Los Angeles centered around two couples who live next door to each other. A neighborhood for our couples had to be created on the Universal backlot. Colonial Street (Wisteria Lane) was transformed into "Laurie Lane." Our two hero houses required major exterior remodeling to work for our characters and storyline. Both houses received new facades and color schemes, and a new garage was built along with new driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and landscaping.

The Goldman House across the street required major modifications to the first floor facade and front entry. Modifications to the second and third floors and roof line were also made.

DIGITAL PRINT BACKINGS FOR BOTH SETS
Digitral print backings were created for both sets. Due to backing print scheduling, the backlot street had to be photographed prior to the planned construction and painting. All the proposed changes to the facades and landscaping had to be digitally created in the backing comp. Backings were photographed and printed by J.C. Backings
